California High School Basketball - Carson fells Banning

January 10, 2024: Carson, CA 90745

Carson Colts (Carson, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA), 41-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Carson upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Colts travel to Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA) to play the Lobos in a Marine bout on Friday, January 12. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Rancho Dominguez lost 74-24 in their recent league bout against San Pedro (San Pedro, CA)

Next up, the Pilots play the Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA) in a Marine bout, on Friday, January 12. Banning will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Gauchos go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 32-29 league loss to Gardena (Gardena, CA).
