Ohio High School Basketball - Bishop Ready holds off North Union
January 10, 2024: Columbus, OH 43204 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH) and the visiting North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH), saw Bishop Ready's basketball squad hold off North Union by a tally of 56-53.
With the victory, Bishop Ready improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Silver Knights travel to Bexley (Columbus, OH) to confront the Lions in a Central Buckeye League challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Bexley won 40-34 in their recent league challenge against Columbus School for Girls (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH) in a Central Buckeye Conference - Mad River challenge, on Saturday, January 13. North Union will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 78-55 non-league loss to Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH).
