North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 67-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Union upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign.

Next up, the Comets play the Hardin Northern Polar Bears (Dola, OH) in a Northwest Central bout, on Thursday, February 15. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Polar Bears come into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 39-36 non-league win over Temple Christian (Mansfield, OH).
