Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) and the host Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), saw Salisbury's basketball squad wallop Lexington by a count of 71-35.

With the victory, Salisbury upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 15. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
