January 10, 2024: Newaygo, MI 49337 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI) and the visiting Ravenna Bulldogs (Ravenna, MI), saw Newaygo's basketball squad overcome Ravenna by a tally of 32-17.
With the victory, Newaygo improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI) to confront the Mohawks in a Central State challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Mohawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Morley Stanwood won 77-27 in their recent league challenge against Tri County Area (Howard City, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the North Muskegon Norsemen (North Muskegon, MI) in a Western Michigan - Other challenge, on Friday, January 12. Ravenna will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Holton (Holton, MI).
