Massachusetts High School Basketball - Westport overwhelms Wareham
January 10, 2024: Westport, MA 02790 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Westport Wildcats (Westport, MA) and the visiting Wareham Vikings (Wareham, MA), saw Westport's basketball squad wallop Wareham by a tally of 55-28.
With the victory, Westport improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Belmont (Belmont, MA) to confront the Marauders in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Marauders come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Belmont won 69-53 in their recent league challenge against Burlington (Burlington, MA)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Holbrook Bulldogs (Holbrook, MA) in a Mayflower 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Wareham will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 45-26 league win over Avon (Avon, MA).
