January 10, 2024: Mount Vernon, WA 98273 The Mount Vernon Bulldogs basketball team (Mount Vernon, WA), was overwhelmed 44-20 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA)
The Mariners now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sedro-Woolley for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. Sehome will battle a Cubs team coming off a 57-18 non-league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 0-2.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Oak Harbor was overwhelmed by Bellingham (Bellingham, WA), 26-14, in a non-league battle.
