January 2, 2024: Mount Vernon, WA 98273 The Squalicum Storm basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Mount Vernon Bulldogs to 26 in the Storm non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Storm now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anacortes for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Squalicum will battle a Seahawks team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-0.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mariner (Everett, WA). The Marauders come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mariner was defeated by Jackson (Mill Creek, WA), 53-4, in a non-league contest.
