Michigan High School Basketball - Romeo holds off New Haven
January 10, 2024: Romeo, MI 48065 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) and the visiting New Haven Rockets (New Haven, MI), saw Romeo's basketball squad hold off New Haven by a tally of 16-14.
With the victory, Romeo improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Utica Eisenhower won 80-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln (Warren, MI)
The Rockets (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Norsemen come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Grosse Pointe North was nudged by Lincoln (Warren, MI), 51-40, in a non-league contest.
