Texas High School Basketball - Abilene nudges Legacy
January 10, 2025: Abilene, TX 79603 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) and the visiting Legacy Leopards (Wichita Falls, TX), observed Abilene's basketball team edge Legacy by a score of 57-53.
The Eagles (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region I District 4 challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Wylie edged Greenwood (Midland, TX), 80-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Leopards encounter the Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Legacy will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 11-14 record after their 56-39 league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX).
