In Friday's league test, the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) basketball squad got by the visiting Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT), by a score of 53-52.

Next, the Cavemen encounter the Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) in a 6A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, January 14. American Fork will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 6-8 record after their 81-75 league loss to Lone Peak (Highland, UT).

The Pioneers (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT). The Thunder come into the 6A Region 3 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Westlake held off Skyridge (Lehi, UT), 59-52, in a league test.
