January 10, 2025: Utqiagvik, AK 99723 The Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) basketball edged the host Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK), 53-50 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Golden Bears now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ketchikan for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Bartlett will play a Kings team coming off a 57-48 non-league loss to Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Kings record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Barrow falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Whalers travel to Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Ninilchik lost 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Dimond (Anchorage, AK)
