New York High School Basketball - Batavia triumphant over Greece Olympia
January 10, 2025: Batavia, NY 14020 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Batavia Blue Devils (Batavia, NY) and the visiting Greece Olympia Spartans (Rochester, NY), observed Batavia's basketball team overwhelm Greece Olympia by a score of 78-54.
The Blue Devils (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Greece Odyssey (Rochester, NY). The Leopards come into the Section 5 Monroe 4 challenge with a 4-5 record.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Spencerport Rangers (Spencerport, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Greece Olympia will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 54-33 non-league loss to Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY).
