Bertha-Hewitt Bears (Bertha, MN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sebeka Trojans (Sebeka, MN), 51-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Bertha-Hewitt advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Bears travel to Ashby (Ashby, MN) to face the Arrows in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Arrows enter the match with a record of 6-4.

The Trojans now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swanville for a A Section 5 match on Monday, January 13. Sebeka will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 64-46 league win over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
