The Big Valley Christian Lions basketball squad (Modesto, CA), was nudged 67-60 in Friday's league battle with the host Linden Lions (Linden, CA)

With the victory, Linden advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Riverbank (Riverbank, CA) to meet the Bruins in a Mother Lode League battle on Friday, January 17. The Bruins enter the battle with a record of 1-16. Riverbank lost 66-33 in their recent league battle against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)

The Lions now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sierra Ridge Academy/ROP for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Big Valley Christian will meet a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Waterford (Waterford, CA). The Rams record now stands at 0-6.
