The Jay Royals basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Central Jaguars to 72 in the Royals league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to L.E.A.D. Academy for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Jay will confront a Lions team coming off a 93-22 non-league loss to Destin (Destin, FL). The Lions record now stands at 1-14.

With the loss, Central falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Laurel Hill (Laurel Hill, FL) to confront the Hoboes in a Rural District 1 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Hoboes go into the game with a record of 2-12.
