January 10, 2025: Cambridge, MA 02141 Community Charter School of Cambridge Cougars (Cambridge, MA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Pioneer Charter School of Science II Pirates (Saugus, MA), 76-41 in a league match.
With the victory, Community Charter School of Cambridge advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Norfolk County Agricultural (Walpole, MA) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Rams enter the match with a record of 5-1.
The Pirates now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem Academy Charter for a Freelance match on Tuesday, January 14. Pioneer Charter School of Science II will face a Navigator squad coming off a 52-39 league win over Excel Academy Charter (East Boston, MA). The Navigator record now stands at 2-5.
