Illinois High School Basketball - Elmwood holds off ROWVA/Williamsfield
January 10, 2025: Oneida, IL 61467 The Elmwood Trojans basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars to 55 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Delavan for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Elmwood will confront a Panthers team coming off a 62-59 league loss to Athens (Athens, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-14.
With the loss, ROWVA/Williamsfield falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 14-8. Peoria Christian lost 81-80 in their recent non-league game against Calvary (Springfield, IL)
