Michigan High School Basketball - Meridian nips Pinconning
January 10, 2025: Pinconning, MI 48650 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored a close 52-51 triumph over the Pinconning Spartans.
The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Flying G's go into the Jack Pine contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Gladwin was tipped by Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI), 54-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Pinconning will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 50-48 league win over Ithaca (Ithaca, MI).
