New York High School Basketball - South Bronx Prep overwhelms Morrisania
January 10, 2025: Bronx, NY 10456 The South Bronx Prep Cougars basketball team scored 93 points and limited the host Morrisania Lions to 68 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 9-0 record. They play next when they host KIPP NYC College Prep for a PSAL 2A Bronx I game on Monday, January 13. South Bronx Prep will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 93-57 non-league win over Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy (Bronx, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Morrisania falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Bronx United (Bronx, NY) to confront the Pythons in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Pythons go into the game with a record of 1-9. Bronx United lost 87-57 in their recent non-league game against Bathgate (Bronx, NY)
