In Friday's league contest, the host Northland Christian Cougars basketball team scored a good 82-65 triumph over the St. Thomas Episcopal Saints.

The Cougars (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rosehill Christian (Tomball, TX). The Eagles go into the TAPPS 4A District 6 contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Rosehill Christian was topped by St. Francis Episcopal (Houston, TX), 81-50, in a league contest.
