January 10, 2025: Providence, RI 02903 Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Central Knights (Providence, RI), 50-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westerly upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Cranston East (Cranston, RI) to face the Thunderbolts in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Thunderbolts enter the match with a record of 0-3. Cranston East lost 58-26 in their recent non-league match against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI)
The Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cumberland for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16.
