California High School Basketball - Liberty thwarts Edison

January 10, 2025: Brentwood, CA 94513

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) and the visiting Edison Vikings (Stockton, CA), observed Liberty's basketball team knock off Edison by a score of 79-59.

The Lions (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Deer Valley (Antioch, CA). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Deer Valley was knocked off by Heritage (Brentwood, CA), 64-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Edison will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 45-37 non-league win over Leland (San Jose, CA).
