January 10, 2025: Hebron, IL 60034 Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL), 64-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Harvard upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Hornets host Marengo (Marengo, IL) to face the Indians in a Kishwaukee River match on Saturday, January 11. The Indians enter the match with a record of 8-6. Marengo lost 42-39 in their recent non-league match against Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL)
The Green Giants now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Durand for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Alden-Hebron will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-37 non-league loss to West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-11.
