December 4, 2024: Woodstock, IL 60098 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) and the visiting Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL), observed Woodstock's basketball team overwhelm Alden-Hebron by a margin of 52-26.
The Blue Streaks (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Marengo (Marengo, IL). The Indians come into the Kishwaukee River challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Marengo trounced Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL), 67-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Green Giants battle the South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) in a Northeastern challenge, on Friday, December 6. Alden-Hebron will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Sobos come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 43-40 non-league loss to Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL).
