The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Silver Lake Mustangs (Roseland, NE) and the host Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE), observed Silver Lake's basketball team overcome Blue Hill by a margin of 33-19.

The Mustangs (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE). The Red Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Heartland Lutheran defeated Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE), 37-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Gibbon Buffaloes (Gibbon, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Blue Hill will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 68-26 league loss to Ord (Ord, NE).
