The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) and the visiting South Lake Eagles (Groveland, FL), observed East Ridge's basketball team edge South Lake by a margin of 41-35.

The Knights (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Foundation Academy (Winter Garden, FL). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Foundation Academy was tipped by Master's Academy (Oviedo, FL), 53-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Freedom Patriots (Orlando, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. South Lake will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record.
