Texas High School Basketball - Keene overwhelms Rice
January 10, 2025: Keene, TX 76059 The Keene Chargers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Rice Bulldogs to 38 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now have a 17-9 record. They play next when they host Palmer for a 3A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, January 14. Keene will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-35 league win over Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-18.
With the loss, Rice falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Grandview (Grandview, TX) to confront the Zebras in a 3A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Zebras go into the game with a record of 25-3. Grandview won 52-27 in their recent league game against Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX)
