Minnesota High School Basketball - St. James thwarts Loyola
January 10, 2025: St. James, MN 56081 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. James Saints (St. James, MN) and the visiting Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN), observed St. James's basketball team knock off Loyola by a score of 72-54.
The Saints (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN). The Cardinals come into the AA Section 3 challenge with a 10-5 record.
In their next game, the Crusaders encounter the United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Monday, January 13. Loyola will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 78-59 non-league win over Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN).
