Minnesota High School Basketball - St. James knocks off Maple River
December 17, 2024: St. James, MN 56081 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. James Saints (St. James, MN) and the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), observed St. James's basketball team overcome Maple River by a margin of 74-61.
The Saints (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Luverne (Luverne, MN). The Cardinals come into the AA Section 3 challenge with a 2-5 record.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN) in a AA Section 2 challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Maple River will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 63-35 non-league win over Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN).
