Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ), 62-26 in a league match.

With the victory, Mingus advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Marauders travel to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Knights enter the match with a record of 3-5. St. Mary's won 42-13 in their recent league match against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)

The Thunderbirds now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee Williams for a 4A Grand Canyon match on Wednesday, January 15. Mohave will face a Volunteers squad coming off a 70-29 league loss to Mingus (Cottonwood, AZ). The Volunteers record now stands at 4-12.
