The Northwood Gladiators basketball squad (Silver Spring, MD), was crushed 89-2 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD)

With the victory, Walter Johnson advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Churchill (Potomac, MD) to meet the Bulldogs in a Freelance battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 6-1. Churchill lost 56-44 in their recent league battle against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD)

The Gladiators now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Northwood will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 46-35 non-league loss to Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-6.
