Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Austin Prep knocks off Hebron Academy
January 10, 2025: Reading, MA 01867 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Austin Prep Cougars ice hockey team scored a close 7-0 victory over the Hebron Academy Lumberjacks.
The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT). The Highlanders go into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Frederick Gunn edged Nichols (Buffalo, NY), 5-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lumberjacks play the Groton School (Groton, MA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Hebron Academy will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The go into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 7-2 league win over Brooks (North Andover, MA).
