The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers to 55 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Minutemen now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley for a Heart of Illinois game on Tuesday, January 13. Lexington will confront a Falcons team coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 8-8.

With the defeat, Mt. Pulaski moves to 8-5 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Illini Central (Mason City, IL) to clash with the Cougars in a Sangamo outing on Tuesday, January 13.
