In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored a good 92-74 triumph over the Olympia Spartans.

The Minutemen (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley topped Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 73-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 1. Olympia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 60-33 non-league loss to Altamont (Altamont, IL).
