In Tuesday's league bout, the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) basketball team edged the host Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), by a tally of 56-49.

The Minutemen now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fisher for a Heart of Illinois bout on Friday, January 30. Lexington will play a Bunnies team coming off a 78-53 league loss to El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL). The Bunnies record now stands at 7-13.
