The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Tremont Turks to 55 in the Minutemen league triumph on Tuesday.

The Minutemen now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Brimfield for a non-league game on Friday, December 19. Lexington will confront a Indians team coming off a 55-37 non-league win over Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Indians record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Tremont falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Turks host Olympia (Stanford, IL) to confront the Spartans in a Sangamo game on Friday, December 19. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 1-6.
