January 11, 2022: Arlington, MA 02476 Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bedford Buccaneers (Bedford, MA), 55-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Arlington upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Spy Ponders travel to Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA) to play the Tanners in a non-league bout on Friday, January 14. The Tanners come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Woburn Memorial won 67-62 in their recent league bout against Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA)
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons (Cambridge, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 14. Bedford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 53-36 league loss to Westford Academy (Westford, MA).
