Massachusetts High School Basketball - North Reading holds off Hamilton-Wenham Regional
January 11, 2022: South Hamilton, MA 01982 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) and the host Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals (South Hamilton, MA), saw North Reading's basketball squad hold off Hamilton-Wenham Regional by a tally of 61-54.
With the victory, North Reading improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Amesbury (Amesbury, MA) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 16. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Generals confront the Manchester Essex Hornets (Manchester, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 14. Hamilton-Wenham Regional will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 71-57 non-league win over Triton Regional (Byfield, MA).
