Massachusetts High School Basketball - North Reading nips Revere
February 21, 2022: Revere, MA 02151 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) and the host Revere Patriots (Revere, MA), saw North Reading's basketball squad hold off Revere by a tally of 52-45.
With the victory, North Reading improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Georgetown (Georgetown, MA) to play the Royals in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 25. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Georgetown won 54-42 in their recent league challenge against Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals (South Hamilton, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 22. Revere will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA).
