The River Pilots basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Monroe Central Seminoles to 44 in the Pilots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pilots now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Magnolia for a non-league match on Friday, January 14. River will meet a Blue Eagles team coming off a 73-59 non-league win over Frontier (New Matamoras, OH). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Monroe Central moves to 7-4 on the year. The Seminoles travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, January 14. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-11. Bridgeport lost 94-54 in their recent non-league match against Bellaire (Bellaire, OH)
