Enterprise Yellowjackets (Brookhaven, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Richton Rebels (Richton, MS), 29-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Enterprise upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Yellowjackets host West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS) to clash with the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, January 14. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 7-4. West Lincoln won 48-44 in their recent league contest against East Marion (Columbia, MS)

The Rebels now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Lumberton for a 1A Region 8 outing on Friday, January 14. Richton will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Resurrection Catholic (Pascagoula, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 11-3.
