Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), 53-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Gardiner upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers host Morse (Bath, ME) to clash with the Shipbuilders in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 13. The Shipbuilders go into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) in a A North bout, on Thursday, January 20. Nokomis will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
