January 11, 2022: Kalamazoo, MI 49006 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) and the visiting Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI), saw Kalamazoo Central's basketball squad wallop Lakeshore by a tally of 69-31.
With the victory, Kalamazoo Central improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Maroon Giants travel to Portage Central (Portage, MI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 14. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Portage Central won 71-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI)
Next up, the Lancers play the Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - West challenge, on Friday, January 14. Lakeshore will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 47-26 league win over Central (Battle Creek, MI).
