The Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) basketball crushed the host Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI), 73-27 in Tuesday's league test.

The Maroon Giants (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI). The Knights go into the Southwestern Michigan - East test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Norrix was trounced by Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI), 70-35, in a non-league test.
