Idaho High School Basketball - Nampa Christian nips Melba
January 11, 2022: Nampa, ID 83651 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID) and the visiting Melba Mustangs (Melba, ID), saw Nampa Christian's basketball squad hold off Melba by a tally of 43-39.
With the victory, Nampa Christian improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID) to play the Pilgrims in a 2A Western Idaho challenge on Friday, January 14. The Pilgrims come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. New Plymouth lost 50-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Nyssa (Nyssa, OR)
Next up, the Mustangs play the New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho challenge, on Thursday, January 20. Melba will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record.
