The South Gray Rebels basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Minneola Wildcats to 45 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bucklin for a non-league contest on Friday, January 14. South Gray will battle a Red Aces team coming off a 65-40 non-league win over Satanta (Satanta, KS). The Red Aces record now stands at 4-5.

The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, KS). The Blue Jays enter the Southern Plains-Iroquois contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Ashland ran past South Central (Coldwater, KS), 49-34, in a non-league contest.
