La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Matadores confront the Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) in a Suburban challenge, on Thursday, January 13. La Mirada will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Monsoons enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA).
