Arkansas High School Basketball - Clarendon overwhelms Midland
January 11, 2023: Clarendon, AR 72029 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Clarendon Lions (Clarendon, AR) and the visiting Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR), saw Clarendon's basketball squad wallop Midland by a count of 74-49.
With the victory, Clarendon upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Brinkley (Brinkley, AR) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 5 challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Brinkley won 69-36 in their recent league challenge against Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Brinkley Tigers (Brinkley, AR) in a 1A Region 5 challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 73-40 league win over Scott Charter (Scott, AR).
