Virginia High School Basketball - Maggie Walker can't hold off Culpeper County
January 11, 2023: Culpeper, VA 22701 The Culpeper County Blue Devils basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Maggie Walker to 44 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chancellor for a Battlefield contest on Friday, January 13. Culpeper County will battle a Chargers team coming off a 66-52 league loss to Caroline (Milford, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 3-8.
The (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against The New Community School (Richmond, VA). The Sabers come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, The New Community School was nudged by Williamsburg Christian Academy (Williamsburg, VA), 59-49, in a non-league contest.
